How to prepare and care for your treatment

To ensure you achieve the safest and healthiest results, please review the following tips for getting the most out of your treatments and enjoying your best skin.

BOTOX®

Before Your Botox Treatment:

  1. *Skip the Blood Thinners: Try to avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners for a week before your appointment to keep bruising to a minimum. *Before discontinuing any medications, please consult your physician to ensure it's safe and appropriate for your health.

  2. Lay Off the Alcohol: It’s a good idea to skip the wine or cocktails 24 hours before your treatment to help reduce swelling and bruising.

  3. Hydrate: Make sure to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water—your skin will thank you!

  4. Share Your Health Info: Let your provider know about any medical conditions or medications you’re on. It helps them tailor the treatment just for you.

  5. Pause on Certain Skincare Products: Hold off on retinoids, exfoliating products, and products that contain active ingredients for a few days before your appointment to keep your skin calm and happy.

After Your Botox Treatment:

  1. Hands Off: Try not to touch, rub, or massage the treated areas for at least 24 hours. You want the Botox to stay right where it’s supposed to!

  2. Keep Your Head Up: Stay upright for the first four hours to help the Botox settle in nicely.

  3. Take It Easy: Skip intense workouts or activities for a day—give your skin a break and let the Botox work its magic.

  4. Avoid Heat: Give saunas, hot showers, and sun exposure a pass for 24 hours to keep swelling and bruising at bay.

  5. Check-In: Don’t forget to follow up with your provider if you have any questions or just to make sure everything’s looking great.

Morpheus8
(Microneedling)

Before Your Morpheus8 (micro-needling w/ radiofrequency) Treatment:

  1. *Skip the Blood Thinners: Try to avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners for a week before your appointment to keep bruising to a minimum.*Before discontinuing any medications, please consult your physician to ensure it's safe and appropriate for your health.

  4. Skip the Makeup: Give your skin a break and go makeup-free for 24 hours after your treatment. It’s the perfect time to let your skin breathe and start the recovery process!

Professional Facial

Before Your Facial:

  1. Skip the Scrubs: Avoid using strong exfoliants or scrubs a few days before your facial to keep your skin from getting irritated.

  2. Drink Up: Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water leading up to your treatment. It’ll keep your skin looking fresh and dewy.

  3. Go Makeup-Free: Try to go without makeup on the day of your facial so your provider can work with a clean slate.

  4. Chat with Your Provider: Share any skin concerns or allergies so they can tailor the facial just for you.

  5. Stay Out of the Sun: Avoid sun exposure and skip tanning before your facial to prevent any sensitivity.

  2. Keep It Cool: Avoid hot showers, saunas, or excessive heat for a day or so to keep your skin calm.

  3. Moisturize and Hydrate: Slather on a gentle, hydrating moisturizer and keep drinking water to help your skin stay plump and glowing.

  4. Give Makeup a Break: Let your skin breathe by skipping makeup for at least 24 hours.

  5. Follow the Tips: Stick to any aftercare advice your provider gives you, like using specific products or avoiding certain activities, to keep your skin looking fabulous!

Dermal Fillers

Before Your Dermal Filler Treatment:

Before Your Chemical Peel Treatment:

  1. Skip Harsh Exfoliants: Avoid strong exfoliants and scrubs a week before your peel to prevent irritation.

  2. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and skip tanning beds to keep your skin from becoming too sensitive.

  3. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin well-hydrated and in great shape.

  5. Pause Certain Skincare Products: Hold off on retinoids, exfoliating products, and products that contain active ingredients like alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) a few days before your peel to avoid over-sensitizing your skin and keep it calm and happy.

  1. Hands Off: Resist the urge to touch, pick, or scratch the treated areas to prevent irritation or infection.

  2. Stay Cool: Avoid hot showers, saunas, and direct sun exposure for at least 24-48 hours to keep your skin calm.

  3. Moisturize and Hydrate: Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer regularly and keep drinking water to help your skin recover and stay supple.

  4. Skip Makeup: Give your skin a break from makeup for at least 24 hours to allow it to breathe and heal.

Derma-Plane

Before Your Derma-Plane Treatment:

  1. Skip Exfoliants: Avoid using exfoliating products or scrubs a few days before your treatment to keep your skin from becoming too sensitive.

  2. Avoid Sun Exposure: Stay out of the sun and avoid tanning beds to prevent irritation of your skin.

  3. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin well-hydrated and in good condition.

  3. Moisturize and Hydrate: Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer and continue drinking water to help your skin stay soft and supple.

  4. Skip Makeup: Let your skin breathe by avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

  5. Follow Aftercare Advice: Stick to any specific aftercare recommendations from your provider, such as using particular products or avoiding certain activities, to get the best results.
