Morpheus8’s ability to work on both superficial and deep tissue levels makes it a game-changer for facial and body rejuvenation. The treatment is fully customizable, allowing us to address your specific concerns and provide natural, long-lasting results.
With minimal downtime and maximum impact, Morpheus8 is perfect for anyone seeking a non-surgical way to lift, tighten, and refresh their face and body.
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, uses a professional device with fine needles to create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin’s surface. This process triggers your body’s natural healing response, stimulating the production of fresh collagen and elastin. As the skin repairs itself, you’ll notice an improvement in skin texture, a reduction in fine lines, and a more even skin tone.
This treatment is incredibly versatile and effective for a variety of concerns. It is most commonly used to reduce the appearance of acne scars, enlarged pores, and fine lines. Additionally, it can help fade hyperpigmentation and sun damage, leaving the skin looking firmer, smoother, and more youthful. Because it works from the inside out, the results are long-lasting and natural.
The downtime for microneedling is minimal. Immediately following the procedure, your skin may appear pink or slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn, which typically fades within 24 to 48 hours. Most clients can return to their normal activities the next day. I provide specific post-care instructions, including the use of gentle hydration and sun protection, to ensure your skin heals beautifully and achieves the best possible results.
Minimize Sensitivity: Try to avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood thinners for a week before your appointment to keep pinpoint bleeding and bruising to a minimum. *Before discontinuing any medications, please consult your physician to ensure it’s safe and appropriate for your health.
Reduce Inflammation: It’s a good idea to skip alcohol 24 hours before your treatment to help reduce swelling and ensure your skin is in its best state for healing.
Hydrate from Within: Make sure to stay hydrated by drinking lots of water—well-hydrated skin supports the collagen production triggered by microneedling.
Share Your Skin History: Let your provider know about any history of cold sores, active acne, or medications you’re on. This helps them tailor the treatment depth and safety just for you.
Clear Your Routine: Stop using retinoids, Vitamin C, or exfoliating acids for 3–5 days before your appointment to ensure your skin barrier is calm and ready for the procedure.
Hands Off: Do not touch, rub, or apply makeup to the treated area for at least 24 hours. Your skin has open micro-channels that need to remain clean to prevent irritation or infection.
Sleep Elevated: Keep your head elevated and sleep on your back for the first night to help minimize post-treatment swelling and let the skin settle.
Sweat-Free Recovery: Skip intense workouts, swimming, or heavy activity for 48–72 hours. Sweat and bacteria can irritate the skin while the micro-channels are closing.
Strict Heat Avoidance: Give saunas, hot showers, and direct sun exposure a pass for at least 48 hours. Your skin will be extra sensitive to heat and UV rays during this initial healing phase.
Gentle Aftercare: Only use the specific post-care serums or cleansers recommended by your provider. Reach out if you have any questions as your skin begins its rejuvenation process!
